Page 4 of 8 I first made the DIP version at home using the toner transfer method. This was an earlier board design which differs in the placement of a few components, as well as using the wrong type of USB connector. I loaded a version of Microchips USB bootloader configured to use my program button on RC0, and was able to easily program and read the PIC via USB. I also loaded on the USB Bit Whacker software from Brian Schmalz. I was able to talk to the PIC using HyperTerminal in Windows, and read the inputs and change the outputs of all pins. |
