Now that we have the basic circuit to use, its time to breadboard it. I used the schematic shown on the previous page to test it out and make sure the chip was functioning correctly.

Its hard to tell in this picture, but the bottom left blue potentiometer is used to adjust the frequency, and the right silver potentiometer is used to adjust the output voltage. By changing the two pots, the output frequency and amplitude changed as expected.
The oscilloscope probe is connected to the Triangle/Sine output (Pin 2). The Square wave output is where the yellow wire is on the right of the chip (Pin 11).
