I decided to first prototype the board at home using the toner transfer technique. The design is printed onto inkjet photo paper on a laser printer, and then ironed onto a blank single sided PCB.

The design on the right is for a seperate amplifier project. Now that the toner has been transferred, the board is placed in an Ammonium Persulphate (or any other solution for making PCB's) which then eats away the copper.

Once all the copper was eaten, the toner was removed using nail polish remover, and then the holes were drilled.
